2025
Ge❤️Ma Secret Santa Christmas donation – Lichtblickhof
As in the previous year, we wanted our Secret Santa Christmas donation to support an initiative that accompanies people through difficult circumstances.
In 2025, we chose Lichtblickhof, a place for families whose child has an incurable, life-limiting illness. A multidisciplinary team and trained therapy horses support the children and their families, creating moments of joy and relief during a very difficult time.
The Christmas story tells of Mary and Joseph finding shelter in a stable with their newborn child. For us, it is a reminder of the importance of stability, closeness and mutual support, especially in uncertain times.
We are glad we could contribute a small ray of hope 💫.

Take Roots & Ge❤️Ma – a shared vision for sustainable wellbeing
From the beginning, our Ge❤️Ma project has aimed to connect people and businesses and create projects that benefit several parties.
With Take Roots , we have found a partner for our Ge❤️Ma Balance Incense whose values align well with our own. Since 1996, Take Roots has imported and refined pure natural raw materials for home fragrance, with a focus on quality, transparency and fair relationships.
We were also drawn to its local social commitment: Take Roots works with a rehabilitation clinic to support inclusion and meaningful employment.
Together, we have expanded our range with Balance Incense under our own label.
Partnership with Lebenshilfe Kärnten – 2024/2025
After the launch of our GeMa Shop on 24 March 2024, the first handmade stick bags by Jessi and Lisi were sold. From the outset, our plan was to transfer further production to Lebenshilfe Kärnten as a work project once the first 100 stick bags had been sold.
The workshop at Bahnstraße 42 offers people with disabilities the opportunity to do meaningful work and also takes on commissioned projects. Together with Daniel Rieger-Pirker and the dedicated people at the workshop, we brought another heartfelt project to life.
The next 100 stick bags were commissioned there – reflecting our guiding thought: By people, with people and for people.
2024
Ge❤️Ma Secret Santa Christmas donation – aktion leben Kärnten
On 12 December 2024, we Ge❤️Ma Secret Santas visited aktion leben Kärnten and surprised the advice centre with a donation.
aktion leben Kärnten supports pregnant women and expectant parents in difficult circumstances, as well as socially disadvantaged families with babies and young children. Its advice is free, professional and confidential. It also provides baby and children’s items and distributes nappies.

25 GeMa yews in the Halleggerteiche nature reserve
We carried out our first nature project in 2024 in the Halleggerteiche nature reserve . Through the Schloss Hallegg estate management and Joachim Helmigk, we heard about a reforestation project and spontaneously decided to take part.
On 18 March 2024, 25 GeMa yews were delivered to Hallegg. On 20 March, at the beginning of spring and just a few days before our shop opened, the young trees were planted in the nature reserve.
The yew was recommended for this project because it is a native tree species that has become rare. For us, it also holds a special symbolism: in various traditions, it represents longevity and endurance.
For us, the yew is GeMa’s tree of beginnings and strength.
