A Project Close to Our Hearts
Doing something we care about, that brings joy and feels meaningful.
GeMa grew out of a simple belief: even if we cannot influence everything, there are many ways to shape our lives consciously and make a difference.
Rather than focusing only on problems, we want to look towards beauty, connection and new solutions. This outlook gave rise to our project close to our hearts.
How it all began
We love spending time outdoors together, hiking, exploring nature and collecting mushrooms. We were particularly fascinated by the extensive networks of fungal threads beneath the soil: countless connections that develop, change and open up new possibilities.
This image inspired us. With GeMa, we want to connect people, ideas and projects – openly, organically and without a rigid plan. Everyone can contribute their own experiences and strengths. Together, new possibilities can emerge.
Making a difference together
We believe in personal initiative and the power of mutual support. When people listen to one another, learn from each other and work together, they can create something valuable for everyone involved.
Our first steps were the GeMa Shiatsu & Balance Stick and the small, practical GeMa Stick. They show how personal experiences and shared ideas can become tangible products.
We do not know exactly where this path will lead. And that is a good thing: our project can keep growing through people, encounters and ideas.
Giving something back to nature
Nature gives us so much. That is why we want to give something back. One cause is particularly close to our hearts: planting trees.
Our first tree project focused on the yew. On 18 March 2024, 25 GeMa yews were delivered to Hallegg. Around the opening of our shop on 24 March 2024, the young trees were planted in the Hallegg nature reserve .
We plan to invest 8% of our revenue in projects that benefit nature and people.
“Either we find a path, or we build new paths together.”
We look forward to everything we can still achieve together.
Our projects
Our project has already led to tangible partnerships and initiatives – from the GeMa yews in Hallegg and our collaboration with Lebenshilfe Kärnten to our Secret Santa Christmas donations.
