Why the feet?

Your feet are a reflection of how balanced you are in the world and within yourself.

"Standing on your own two feet, putting one foot in front of the other, standing with both feet in life, knowing where you stand, or the ground has been pulled out from under me" are expressions that we are all familiar with. They describe our inner and outer reality. Your feet are the foundation on which you find your balance and are carried by. We talk about being rooted or anchored or about being uprooted when we feel lost, separated or alienated. When you are stuck and not moving forward, you usually mean a thought process. Situations that you cannot get out of or stuck emotions. You are too much in your head and are caught in your own thought carousel. We all know what it's like to be stuck and standing still. In this state, projects do not progress and our thoughts go around in circles. This usually has to do with your rigid views and ideas about how something should or should be and/or with blocking beliefs: I am not good enough or the project is not yet good enough. That is why nothing is moving forward. This stagnation also manifests itself in your body as rigidity or tension. Nothing works anymore. As soon as you start walking or get going, your whole body and your life start moving.

If we think about our feet in more depth, their meaning becomes even clearer: they are our connection to the earth. Our feet symbolize this grounding. Our head symbolizes the sky, our dreams and visions. Some of us only dream our lives, but do not live our dreams.

Especially in the last few years, many people have lost the ground beneath their feet and thus their grounding. Caught in the hustle and bustle of everyday life, with far too little exercise and an enormous flood of information, it is easy to lose focus on what is important. We think about the past or dream of our future and forget the present moment. But this present moment is incredibly important for you and all of us, because only in this moment "now" does your life or life take place. Consciously " grounding yourself by walking on the stick" helps you to eliminate your excessive head-heaviness, and you will feel better again. Because...

  • As soon as you feel yourself, you come into contact with your emotions.
  • Being able to accept your emotions and yourself is an act of self-love.
  • Self-love leads to self-acceptance
  • Self-acceptance strengthens your self-esteem. This leads to self-confidence.
  • Self-confidence leads to trust in life.

This “grounded” attitude will enable you to remain calm even in the greatest chaos.
